Assessments

The ACAP Summative Assessment is given ONCE a year in the Spring. The testing usually occurs in late April and/or early May. Students are assessed in the following subjects by grade:

• 6th Grade - ELA and Writing, Science, and Math  
• 7th Grade - ELA and Writing and Math
• 8th Grade - ELA and Writing, Science, and Math

The ACAP Summative Assessment measures students' grade-level proficiency and is used as reportable data for the ALSDE School and District Report Card.
